Early Thursday morning, a missile barrage was launched on cities across Ukraine by Russia, with air raid sirens sounding for hours in the capital, Kyiv.

Impact on Residential Buildings

Officials in Ukraine reported that residential buildings were impacted, but did not provide any information regarding potential casualties.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported on Telegram that 15 missiles impacted the city and the outlying northeastern region, resulting in damage to residential buildings and causing disruptions to electricity in some areas.

The governor of the southern Odesa region, Maksym Marchenko, reported incidents in Odesa, stating that energy facilities and residential buildings were impacted.
